Workshops/Classes at the PAC
The Pendleton Art Center offers classes and workshops for all skill levels, in many fine art areas. Students will find a welcoming and supportive environment within which to begin a fulfilling learning experience. The emphasis is on personal artistic enrichment.
Plastering Your Art Work
The class will explore the different ways to use plaster in setting up your paintings background. We will examine the difference between a rich, heavy texture with large cracks vs a smoother plaster with tiny cracks and look at when we might want to use them. We will create a cracked, aged surface to paint on, adding your favorite photo to the painting, finishing and sealing and of course that tricky part of bringing it all together.
I will gently guide you every step of the way, sharing tips and techniques to help you on your painting journey.
