Keep This In Mind...
When you are working with acrylic paints they have a tendency to dry darker than they appear when wet. Now sometimes this can be a good thing...you may find yourself having to paint an image more than once. The process of reworking an area creating several layers will add depth and texture to the piece.
One way to make sure you are going to be happy with your color selections is to create a sample palette before you begin.
You will notice that I made sure and recorded the combination of colors, so the next time I will know exactly which combinations I used. (I also record which painting this palette was used for as an easy reference). This may seem like a lot of extra work to go through before you even start painting, but in the end it will save you time, frustration and wasted paint while you are painting.

Till then...Happy Painting.
